WHIT "ain't nothing but a hound dog." He is 2 years-old, weighs 65 lbs, and is currently in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program. Our guess is our state correctional facility is the first "indoor living experience" WHIT has ever had. No carpeting, no couches, but at least he has a roof over his head and a bed in his crate. These hounds are actually a great training challenge for the inmates. Hounds are lovable and huggable, but they are also hard to motivate...unless there's a yummy treat at the other end. These pictures don't do him justice as he's nicely marked.
