Ike

MEET Super Paws Behind Bars standout, IKE!!! He's a handsome guy who is a mix of Heeler/Terrier.  Ike weighs about 58 pounds and still considers that to be "lap dog" size! He's a young 18 months of age and has a wonderful temperament!  He walks well on a leash,  knows the commands of sit, down, "place" and others which he has learned from his inmate in the prison training program. Ike and his buddy dog, Mike, were taken to the shelter when their owner left them behind after they moved!  Ike is house trained and crate trained and plays well with most other dogs. He'd make a great family dog and is ready to be adopted. Ike loves to cuddle, he lays on his inmates lap like a baby and, of course, occasionally gets carried around too!  He's looking for a great family to step up to the plate!
