Meet CHESSIE - Paws Behind Bars Trained

CHESSIE is a 2 year old, 55 lb female cattle dog mix who is PATIENTLY waiting for her new home. She is a Paws Behind Bars graduate, and she's VERY well trained. She is loyal and will unconditionally be your best friend forever! Chessie came to us very high energy but the prison training taught her how to harness all that. She walks beautifully on a leash and is a snuggle buddy inside the house. Cattle dogs have a high work ethic, but Chessie is a "pleaser." She'll chase a squirrel, but she takes just as much delight in having you tell her not to. Her dislikes? Cats are a no go. Other dogs? She is picky, and while being an only dog is preferred, a young, goofy male would be okay. Chessie needs a fenced yard.
