Meet PIXIE

Meet PIXIE! Pixie is a two-year-old Blue Great Dane who was found abandoned in a rural country field. She was extremely malnourished and in desperate need of saving. We are happy to announce Pixie is HEALTHY and HAPPY at 143 lbs! She has been loved and well cared for in a local foster home. Pixie is a "Velcro Dane" who LOVES her people! Pixie is your typical “mouthy” Dane. Pixie is sweet as pie, and she shows her love by “leaning” into her people.  She has been working hard on learning not to jump up when excited.

Due to her size we feel a home with older children (12-years-old and up) is necessary. Additionally, other dogs in the home need to be at least 50 lbs as Pixie does not care for small dogs. This amazing girl is fully house trained and crate trained. Pixie is very food motivated and has learned: sit, down, and wait, while in her foster home. Giant breed experience preferred.
