Meet TAFFY - Paws Behind Bars Prison Dog Trained

TAFFY is a 10-month-old female mixed breed who has the looks of a Black Mouth Cur (aka KY mixed all breed from the hills!) She is a nice size at 40 lbs, and she's currently in our prison dog training program. We're happy to report she's growing up very nicely in this program. Obedience, socialization, structure, and direction are just what these young dogs need. TAFFY is an excellent student, and, while she still has her puppy moments, she's also mastering her commands. Leash, crate and house training are also part of the curriculum, and she's got that down, too.  Did we mention Taffy loves other dogs?

If you’re interested in adopting, our process begins with the submission of our online application, or email us if you submitted an application within the last six months.  We review and schedule meet and greets (with approved applicants only) based on the order received.
