Meet HOT ROD

HOT ROD is a 8-month-old male Beagle mix. He currently weighs 38 lbs and won't get too much larger. He came to us from a rural shelter where he was picked up as a stray and not claimed. He is a very friendly, outgoing, goofy pup; lots of character and fun with this one! He's in a great foster home and we're pleased to tell you he's house, leash, and crate-trained. He's figuring out his nose, but, so far, he's not obsessed with it. He's quiet for a hound, if you were wondering. He gets all excited when he sees another dog - an opportunity for more play. No doubt he'll make a great family companion if you have the time and patience to help him through his puppy years.

If you’re interested in adopting, our process begins with the submission of our online application, or email us if you submitted an application within the last six months.  We review and schedule meet and greets (with approved applicants only) based on the order received.
