Meet SAMMY

SAMMY is a young male mixed breed who is a nice medium size. He's got a unique blue roan coat that is wirey. He's probably just under a year old. He is currently participating in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training progam where he's learning social and obedience skills. We see a lot of "Terrier attitude" in this pup. He's smart and he's quick, but he's got that air of independence. Sammy will probably do best in an adult home (older children would be fine). A fenced yard is desired so he can run and use up his energy. We are waiting on the inmate to tell us if he can play nicely with other dogs. He's another one of those who doesn't know how to introduce himself nicely.
