Meet TAZ - Paws Behind Bars Prison Dog Trained
TAZ is a young male, mixed breed who came to us when a friend of the rescue reached out. He weighs 50 lbs and is at his mature weight. He is very friendly, energetic AND a talker! (All of this makes us think there is Husky in there.) He is currently in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program for a crash course on composure and obedience.
After two weeks, he is starting to settle down. He's got many positive role models to learn from, and his meals come regularly. His person is rarely out of his sight. Not surprising, he is very quick to learn and enjoys the interaction and mental challenge of training. TAZ will mature to be a wonderful companion for the right family. He'll require an owner who has the time to spend with him and keep him busy. Another young dog in the home would be a plus.
If you’re interested in adopting, our process begins with the submission of our online application, or email us if you submitted an application within the last six months. We review and schedule meet and greets (with approved applicants only) based on the order received.
