Meet BROWNIE

Meet our sweet girl, Brownie! She's been a wonderful mother to two litters of puppies and is now ready to find her forever home! She is a 2-year-old Chihuahua/Corgi mix and was surrendered by her owners when she was pregnant with her second litter. They had too much on their plate and needed the rescue to help.

Brownie has been in a foster home with other dogs and children. We think that she would do best in a home with no children under five-years-old. She does well with both large and small dogs but would also be fine as an only dog in the family! She loves bones and stuffy toys and will play independently. She is crate trained, and she actually loves to retreat to her crate, at times. She is house trained, as long as you respond to her cues when she needs to go outside. She is currently using the doggie door at her foster home to go in and out. She does great on a leash and loves car rides! She does take a little bit to warm up to new people, but once she does, she is very affectionate and loves to give kisses! She would be a great addition to a family of adults or a family with older children!
