Meet SASSY - Paws Behind Bars Trained

SASSY is a 7-month-old female Pittie mix. She currently weighs 34 lbs and should mature to less than 50? Her build is lean and not stocky which makes us think she's a mix. SASSY is a graduate of our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program, and she is a real treasure. She was in training for months as a therapy dog and would do very well in this field. She is "CGC" and "Star Puppy" certified. She was assessed early on for therapy work, and we thought we had her all lined up with handler until that fell through.

So what's next for Sassy? Right now, she'll make a wonderful, very well-trained family companion. Her perfect home will be one where her person can be with her. She has a strong work ethic and lives to please. She's great with other dogs and is wonderful with children.
