Meet TEX - Paws Behind Bars Trained

TEX is a young male American Bulldog who weighs 85 lbs. He was picked up as a stray from a local shelter and never claimed. He passed his initial temperament with flying colors and made a quick entrance into our Paws Behind Bars Prison Dog Training Program. He continues to excel!

He is a big marshmallow of a dog. He is clueless as to his size, and he loves everyone and everything. He's playing great with the other dogs (he is bunking up with an older male dachshund, and he's a little afraid of him ;) ), and, despite his young age, he's got a nice moderate energy level. He's taken nicely to his obedience and will do anything for food. For the bully breed fans out there, this guy is a real find!

If you’re interested in adopting, our process begins with the submission of our online application, or email us if you submitted an application within the last six months.  We review and schedule meet and greets (with approved applicants only) based on the order received.
