Meet PINK - Paws Behind Bars-Trained

PINK is a 7-month-old female Cattle Dog mix. She is currently in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program to help focus that herding dog work ethic of hers. She is active but very social and playful. Thanks to the "out of the box thinking" of her inmate, she is bunking up with Reesie. Reesie came to us with 10 puppies and we're focusing on her needs, too. She's a 2-year-old Weimaraner mix with energy, but she's also been a good mother, so the special combination of an experienced inmate handler, an energetic cattle dog puppy, and a young mother dog working together is a perfect combinaton. (It's no secret that dogs learn well from each other.) If interested in adopting Pink and/or Reesie or both, they are both going to make good family additions. Fenced yard is a must as well as is a schedule that allows for one-on-one time. Dogs like these are not suitable for long crate hours.
