Meet COWBOY- Paws Behind Bars Trained

COWBOY is a 7-month-old male who weighs 55lbs. We can definitely see the Border Collie markings and coat, but there is something much larger in there, too. He's growing like a weed! He was picked up as a stray and not reclaimed. Currently he's in our Paws Behind Bars, prison Dog training program! He is Canine Good Citizen Certified with his inmate trainer. He will continue to polish his obedience training and enjoy plenty of exercise and socialization while he waits for his forever home. He loves people just as much and tries hard to crawl up in a lap while he still can.

He'll do best with an active family looking for a large breed. He should have a fenced yard so he can get an appropriate amount of exercise. If there is Border Collie in there, he's smart, and he'll be very eager to learn! He has been introduced to a crate and leash, and, so far, so good with that!
