Meet HILDI - Paws Behind Bars Trained

HILDI is a female, one-year-old German Shepherd. She was picked up as a stray and went to animal control. She was thin but very responsive to treats and we discovered had a good sit, down on her. She is alert, focused and smart! She was much too nice a dog to leave behind so we pulled her and put her in our Paws Behind Bars Prison Dog Training program. Her inmate works daily on general composure. She's smart and she has puppy energy so it's a contest to see who's the most tired at the end of the day. She'll make a great companion for someone who understands the breed. They are very demanding of your time and attention and need both physical and mental stimulation. The nice thing about Hildi is more than anything, is she's happy and she wants to please.
