Meet JOCELYN

Jocelyn is a young adult female, under 40 lbs., who came into the rescue from the Lexington area with her young puppies. She came in a little reserved, but, in a loving foster home, they have seen her bloom into a fun and affectionate dog.

Jocelyn is loving, playful, and athletic. She enjoys playtime with her foster family, although she hasn't quite grasped the concept of fetch. Her foster family includes two elementary school kiddos, and they adore her (to watch her with them, the feeling is mutual).

We are unsure on her breed mix, but, with minimal effort, she is interested in minding her owner in regards to commands and leash walking. She will benefit from basic training with her adoptive family, and we suspect she will be a quick learner.

She prefers a family who she can spend time with more often than being alone. Her foster family has not even heard her bark, but she will cry a little when left alone. We aren't sure how she does with other dogs as she is the sole dog in her foster home. If you are looking for a smart pup who will play and be engaged and affectionate, Jocelyn is your girl! Just watch out for her puppy dog eyes!
