Meet PUZZLE - Paws Behind Bars Prison Dog Trained

PUZZLE is a 5-month-old female Pit Bull Terrier mix puppy. Due to the adventurous spirit of the inmates in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program, a couple of them have taken on training an adult dog and a puppy at the same time. Learning about the dynamics of a mature dog and a very young dog living together are giving us all great insights and enable us to better adopt them to prospective homes. Now, that's the official message; the reality of it is that everyone loves a puppy, and the three that are currently in training are making everyone laugh!

The great news for a potential adopter is we can offer a fully trained puppy - very well-behaved, fully house, crate, and leash-trained and already well versed in obedience.

If you’re interested in adopting, our process begins with the submission of our online application, or email us if you submitted an application within the last six months.  We review and schedule meet and greets (with approved applicants only) based on the order received.
