Meet RIO

RIO is a 2-year-old male Australian Shepherd who weighs 60 lbs. He is a great dog and is hoping his stay with us is his last and final before finding the right home.

He was picked up as a stray and then adopted out. He turned out to be too happy and bouncy for a young child, so he was returned. While with us, he's proven to be a great dog! He's outgoing, he's active, and he loves people and other dogs. He handles a crate nicely, he's house-trained, and he's good on a leash. His perfect home? One with people who have time to spend with him (Aussies love their human companionship.), a big fenced yard, so he's got room to exercise, and, if there are children, ones who are old enough to play with a 60 lbs. dog.
