Meet WILLET

Willet is a 4-year-old, female Yellow Labrador Retriever. She came to us as a result of the recent deep freeze. She was in the woods for a couple of days before a kind person coaxed her into his barn and made accommodations to keep her safe until we could drive to get her.

She's now with us and in a great foster home. Much to our amazement, she is crate-trained, house-trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. Even better, she's gentle with small children and likes the resident cat. She's a little overweight so, despite the fact she was wandering, someone had kept her well-fed and loved.

If you’re interested in adopting, our process begins with the submission of our online application, or email us if you submitted an application within the last six months.  We review and schedule meet and greets (with approved applicants only) based on the order received.
